James Rodriguez looks certain to leave Real Madrid this summer, with a host of clubs interested in the Colombian’s signature and What Are The Odds looks at the possible destinations via the odds at Sky Bet bookmaker.
According to Spanish news source Don Balon via the Express, Manchester United (who are the favourites) have been joined by a number other clubs in the hunt for his Rodriguez’s signature.
However it’s Jose Mourinho’s side that have been the most in the gossip columns when it comes to the Colombian’s next club links and short odds of 7/4 (2.75) seems to indicate it’s a matter of when and not if.
With United out of the hunt for Antoine Griezmann and Zlatan Ibrahimovic released from the club, it’s no secret that the Red Devils need another creative / goalscoring outlet, and bringing in a player of James Rodriguez’s undoubted quality just makes good sense.
Inter Milan are looking to splash the cash this summer and having recently just appointed Luciano Spalletti as their new manager, the club will be looking to move forward quickly and possibly pip Man Utd to the signing of Rodriguez. Odds of 5/2 (3.50) are on-offer for the attacking midfielder to move to the Italian giants, but a lack of Champions League football could be the big stumbling block.

AC Milan, like their arch-rivals Inter are in for James, but are much further back at 14/1 (15.0), however the club have money to spend and are desperate to make a return to Europe’s top table where they were once a guaranteed fixture. This summer will be crucial for the Italians and a marquee signing for arguably one of the world's best creative midfielders would signal great intent to challenge Juventus for the Serie A crown next season.
Liverpool at 16/1 (17.0) and Arsenal at 18/1 (19.0) are likely ‘ones to watch’ if other ‘more likely’ options drop to the wayside. Both would represent very attractive options for Rodriguez and the chance to work with two of the most respected managers in world football as well as compete for major honours in England.
